3. Get the advertisement to Black Pages

Black Pages can design the advertisement for you. Costs of advertisements start at $150 and depend on the size of the banner, the amount of design work needed and the amount of animation requested.

Below are the specifications for the advertisements should you choose to develop the advertisement elsewhere.

Animation: Animated (with limited or unlimited looping) or static

URL (web site address): Please supply the URL to which your ad is to be linked

ALT Text (text that appears when your mouse runs over a word): Please supply 50 characters or less of alt text

Transparency: Graphics will appear on a black background with some design features visible so please don't create transparent backgrounds

Web-friendly Colours: All large flat areas of colour must be from the non-dithering palette of 216 colours. Be especially careful when using JPGs

File Format:

  • Final /images should be supplied in GIF 89A format
  • Any fonts used must be supplied
  • EPS files for logos must also be supplied where applicable

File Extensions: Final graphics must be labeled correctly. If the image file is a gif the name would be "filename.gif"
