• Search strings match any occurence of the sequence of characters searched

  Example

  Organisation : al

  Will result in all records where the sequence al occurs. This would be cultural AS WELL AS Aboriginal etc

• Searches on phone numbers that include brackets around the area code automatically have brackets and spaces stripped and so are valid search terms.

  Example

  Phone : (02) 9876 5432 or 0298765432 or 02987

  Will all find record with phone number 0298765432

• Default search without any search data will result in ALL records being retrieved
• Search with search data entered in only one field will result in all records whose selected field matches the search data being retrieved
• Search with search data entered in multiple fields will only result in records who match all the fields selected with the corresponding search data

  Example

  Industry: Agriculture and Fishing
  State: New South Wales

  Will result in all records who belong to the Agriculture and Fishing industry AND are located in the state of New South Wales

• Default search without any search data will result in NO records being retrieved
• Search with search data entered in only one field will result in all records whose selected field matches the search data being retrieved
• Search with search data entered in multiple fields will result in records who match any the fields selected with the corresponding search data

  Example

  Industry: Agriculture and Fishing
  State: New South Wales

  Will result in all records who belong to the Agriculture and Fishing industry AS WELL AS all records located in the state of New South Wales
